Coronas welcome son

Rolando and Michele Corona of Lake Arthur announce the birth of their son, Alex Angel, born Feb. 24, 2012, at Jennings American Legion Hospital.

Mrs. Corona is the former Michele Leger of Lake Arthur.

Alex weighed six pounds, four ounces at birth and was 18 inches long.

He was welcomed home by his brother, Adrian.

Maternal grandparents are Elmer and Gloria Leger of Lake Arthur.

Paternal grandparents are Epifanio Corona of Houston, Texas, and Rosario Rodriguez of Mexico.

Great-grandparents are Anna Vincent, the late Alton Vincent, Eda Leger, the late Olidie Leger, Amador Corona, Solano Marcela, Mauricio Rodriguez and Ernestina Villegas.

Godparents are Mauricio Corona and Kristi Lisenby, both of Lake Arthur.
