Bulldog qualifiers set for state meet

The Bulldog boys’ and girls’ track teams claimed five gold medal finishes Wednesday in the Class 3A Region I meet in Westlake, including wins in the boys’ and girls’ pole vault, boys 110 hurdles, and girls 100- and 200-meter dashes.
Lady Dog Imani Coleman earned two of the five titles, with a first place time of 12.48 in the 100 and gold in the 200 with a time of 25.90.
Jennings pole vaulters Addison Martinez and Drew McKnight have set the bar high with hopes of securing state titles in Baton Rouge next week. Both vaulted their way to gold at Regionals on Wednesday.
