Lawrence and Trina Fruge announce the birth of their son, Matthew Lawrence, born April 3, 2012, at Jennings American Legion Hospital.
Mrs. Fruge is the former Trina Cormier of Hathaway.
Matthew weighed six pounds, 11 ounces at birth and was 19 inches long.
He was welcomed home by his sisters, Carissa and Morgan.
Maternal grandparents are Lester and Diana Cormier of Hathaway.
Paternal grandparents are Blackie and Helen Fruge of Lake Arthur.
Great-grandparents are Jeannette Sonnier of Hathaway and Mary Louise Cormier of Lake Arthur.
