White, Naquin united in marriage
Courtney Jolie White of Jennings and Casey James Naquin of Sulphur were married at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Jennings, with Father Charles McMillin officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Ron and Debra White and Wanda Benoit White, all of Jennings. She is the granddaughter of Ann White of Jennings, the late Tony White, Clarence Benoit of Jennings and the late Edna Barnabus Benoit.
A 2000 graduate of Jennings High School, she graduated from McNeese State University in 2004 and is currently employed by the Jeff Davis School Board as a teacher.
The groom is the son of James and Wanda Naquin of Sulphur and the grandson of Mabel Trahan of Sulphur, the late Louis Trahan, Ron and Betty Brown of Lindsburg, Kan., the late Virgil Welch and the late Edward Naquin.
A 2003 graduate of Sulphur High School, he graduated from LSU-Shreveport in 2010 and is the owner of Black Diamond Flooring.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an A-line, strapless gown in ivory, which featured a ruched taffeta bodice that flowed into pleated ruffles.
Maid of honor was Melissa Hickey-White of Metairie, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Jamie Bienvenu Knight of Crowley, Brittany Fontenot of Jennings, Courtney Sittig Reed of Lake Charles and Tammy Courvelle Peveto of Sulphur.
Best man was Derek Peveto of Sulphur.
Groomsmen were Will Nordstrom, Troy Nix and Trey Miller, all of Sulphur, and Matt LaBauve of Lafayette.
Mini-groomsman was Caileb James Richard, son of the bride.
Ring bearer was Benjamin Hickey-White of Metairie, nephew of the bride.
Readers were Louis Trahan Jr. and Dianne Prince.
A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at the Multi-Purpose Building.
The couple resides in Jennings.
