LAES Thanks Volunteers, Parents, Businesses

Dear Editor,

Lake Arthur Elementary faculty and staff would like to thank the numerous parents and businesses that made Teacher Appreciation Week such a tremendous success. The generosity of the community was abundant and it was enjoyed by all.  Faculty and staff were able to attend an hour long professional development meeting while volunteers supervised classrooms. Delicious food was donated every day and every staff member was given a special gift.

Jan Conner and Stephanie Feverjean deserve extra recognition for coordinating the week’s activities. The efforts of these ladies and the entire town are to be commended.
