LSP prepared for storms

Baton Rouge – In the spirit of preparing for the worse and hoping for the best, the Louisiana State Police senior staff held a command briefing Monday afternoon in the LSP Emergency Operation Center at Headquarters in Baton Rouge.
The Louisiana State Police EOC is staffed to monitor storm developments and act as a liaison to GOHSEP and other state agency stake holders. All southern troop commanders have been in contact with Parish OEPs, sheriffs and chiefs in their areas of responsibility for situational awareness.
