Reader Shares Views On Sin
Dear Editor,
The smoldering fires of Communism and the bid for world dominion that Rome makes should fill us with alarm.
It has been said that there are only three classes of people in the world today: those who are afraid, those who do not know enough to be afraid and those who know their Bibles. Sodom, with no Bibles, no preachers, no tracts, no prayer meetings and no churches perished.
Today, we have millions of Bibles, many churches, many preachers and yet we sin!
Men build churches but do not enter them; print Bibles but do not read them; and talk about God but do not believe Him. We speak about Jesus but do not trust Him. How are we to come out of all this?
We go to church meetings and we are told that despite our sin and carnality, we are seated with Him. What a lie!
We are the church in the Book of Revelation called the Church of Ephesians because we have left our first love. Why does revival tarry? The answer is simply because evangelism is so highly commercial. Watch television today and see what is done in the name of Jesus. We must alter the altar, for the altar is a place to die on. Let those who will not pay this price leave it alone!
Finally, revival tarries because we steak the glory that belongs to God. (John 5:41-44)
Wake up; Jesus is soon to return!
