Vote For Books!

Daily News photos by Sheila Smith

The Carnegie Library in Jennings recently launched its summer program, “Vote for Books,” in honor of the 2012 presidential election year. Activities are held each Thursday at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. for children of all ages. For the first gathering on June 7, local youngsters read a story about sharing, voted for their favorite ice cream flavor and made their own magnets. For more information on Carnegie activities, call 821-5517.
