Funeral services for Mrs. Agnes Smith Hebert, 92, will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2012, at 10 a.m. at First Church of Christ, with Brother Jack Harris officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.
Visitation was held today, Friday, April 20, 2012, from 4-8 p.m. and will resume on Saturday, July 21 from 8 a.m. until the time of services.
Mrs. Hebert died on Thursday, July 19, 2012, at 10:35 a.m. in Golden Age Nursing Home of Welsh.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Jennings. Mrs. Hebert loved her plants and enjoyed yard work. She was a caregiver and took care of her husband and parents.
Mrs. Hebert is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ophelia Newman Smith; her husband, Norris Hebert; her sister, Eunice Duhon; and her five brothers, George Smith, Clarence “Ben” Smith, Alvin “Frazz” Smith, Wallace “Kikki” Smith and Albert Richard Smith.
