John Voris Harmon Sr.
Funeral services for John Voris Harmon Sr., 69, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2012, in Semien-Lewis Mortuary Church Chapel, with Rev. Carl Fontenot officiating.
Burial will be in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. until time of funeral services in the chapel.
Mr. Harmon entered into enternal rest Friday, July 13, 2012, in a Lake Charles hospital.
He was a native of Jennings and a self-employed mechanic.
Survivors include one son, John Voris Harmon Jr. of Jennings; five daughters, Linda Berry of Jennings, Shirley (Dwight) Freeman of Virginia, Yolonda (Charles) Banks of Los Angeles, Calif., Angelia Harmon of Maryland and Laresha Harmon of Sacramento, Calif.; one sister, Gertie Pierre; one brother, James “Jimmie” (Shirley) Harmon of Jennings; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
