Athletes of the Week

At the USTA Regional Senior Tournament in Mobile, Ala., the defending champions from Louisiana for 2011, (L-R) Janine Hollier, Julie Benoit, Ginny Sonnier, Denise Durel, Mindy Hetzel, Winn Vinson and Lonnie Fontenot, are currently 3-0 and first place in their bracket, earning them the title of Athletes of the Week. The ladies are competing for a chance to represent the Southern Region at national competitions to be held in California in October. They were slated to face Tennessee on Saturday for a chance to compete in the finals today, Sunday.
