Bank robbers wanted by city police

City police are currently searching for two bank-robbing bicyclists, and due to physical evidence left at the scene of the crime, Jennings Police Chief Todd D’Albor believes both suspects will soon be named in the case.

At approximately 3:43 p.m. Thursday, two unidentified individuals armed with handguns entered the West Division Branch of Jeff Davis Bank and demanded money from the tellers.

City police are searching for these two unidentified suspects, who are wanted for the armed robbery of Jeff Davis Bank on West Division Street Thursday. Anyone with possible information regarding this case can contact the police department’s anonymous tip line at (337) 275-9002.
