CADA gears up for annual Taste-n-Tell

While the public often hears about breast cancer or heart disease being the leading killer of women, it seldom hears about the leading cause of injury to women – domestic violence.
In fact, according to the National Center for Domestic and Sexual Violence, domestic abuse brings more injury to women in one year than car accidents, muggings and rapes combined. In the United States alone, $4.1 billion is spent each year for direct medical and healthcare services stemming from domestic abuse.
