Eric K. Broussard
LAKE ARTHUR – Funeral services for Mr. Eric K. Broussard, 60, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, with Rev. Clyde Thomas officiating.
Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur.
Funeral home visitation was held today, Thursday, Aug. 9, from 10:30 a.m. until 9 p.m., and will continue from 8 a.m. Friday until time of services.
A rosary was recited at 7 p.m., today, Thursday, in the funeral home chapel.
Mr. Broussard died at 9:35 p.m., Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at his residence.
Mr. Broussard was a lifelong resident of Lake Arthur. He was a self-employed plumber and a member of the Plumbers Association. He was also a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Annette Young Broussard, of Lake Arthur; two daughters, Rachel (Bruno) Paquot of Baton Rouge and Christy (Tim ) Tumlin of Birmingham, Ala.; one son, Eric S. Broussard of Denver, Colo.; three sisters, Cynthia Duprie of Jennings, Priscilla (Warren) LeBeouf of Kaplan, and Vanita (Paul) Daugereaux of Crowley; and three grandchildren, Isabel Reams, William Reams and Lilyanne Paquot.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Van Dyke and Hazel Ruth Leger Broussard.
