The Annual J-Town Showdown Golf Tournament is returning to the Jennings Golf and Country Club for its fifth year, and a field of 96 teams is expected to participate. The proceeds from the fundraiser, set for Aug. 11-12, benefit a worthy cause – Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Southwest Louisiana. The United Way Agency services both Jeff Davis and Allen parishes.

The tournament format is a two-man scramble with a shot gun start at 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Entry fee for the charity event is $150 per person or $300 per team.
