Seek God’s Leadership
Dear Editor,
Did you know the Bible teaches:
“We shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written, as I live saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me and every tongue shall confess to God. So, then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.” Romans 14:10-11
Our parents and teachers taught and inspired us in that our high courts in this Christian nation were men of moral characters who stood on the principles of the Bible and commandments. The Bible was used to wear them in office. I can still remember my heart swelling with pride for men I never knew but respected and admired.
We need to bring America before a forgiving God and pray He will hear us before the election to choose a man who is not for the killing of unborn babies and same sex marriages.
The Bible teaches in Job 10: 10-13 (Job is talking to God about his conception), “Has thou not poured me out as milk, and curdled me like cheese? Thou has clothed me with skin and flesh, and hast fenced me with bones and sinew. Thou hast granted me life and favor and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit. And these things has thou hid in thin heart: I know that this is with thee.”
In Isaiah 4:20, we read in the Old Testament, “Woe unto them that call evil good and good evil.”
In the New Testament we are told before the Lord’s return, this is what people will be saying.
Since our form of government has been known to be best, why are they trying to adopt foreign policies? God chose godly leaders to lead His people, Israel. They rebelled. God sent chastisement upon them so severe, they repented in sackcloth and sat in ashes.
Will America be faced with the same consequences to allow sin to prevail? Let us seek God’s leadership when we cast our votes. We are the responsible ones.
