Walkers welcome daughter home

Jeff and Jenna Walker of Kinder announce the birth of their daughter,

Janie Kate Walker

, born July 2, 2012, at Gauthier Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles.

Mrs. Walker is the former Jenna Leger of Jennings.

Janie weighed seven pounds, six ounces at birth and was 19 1/4 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Dale and Priscilla Leger of Jennings.

Paternal grandparents are Gerald and Becky Walker of Kinder.

Great-grandparents are Rayln and Betty Fall of Mermentau, Ida Deshotel of Jennings and Wanda Walker and L.D. and Delores Vizena, all of Kinder.

Godparents are Jeremy Leger and Laci Leger, both of Lake Charles.
