DARE sees changes, gains two new officers

Some fifth and sixth grade students in Jeff Davis Parish (JDP) are about to come face to face with two JDP Sheriff’s Office deputies during a 10-week study of the consequences of drug and alcohol abuse.
Several generations of JDP students know the program as Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) but in the past year, DARE has seen major changes on a local and national level.
