Jennings Dogs dominate in week one

CECILIA – The battle of the Bulldogs took place in Swamp People country Friday night. The Jennings Bulldogs traveled to Cecilia to take on the green and gold version of the Bulldogs of class 4-A. The maroon and white Bulldogs of Jennings dominated the contest but didn’t pull away until the second half. Jennings led at intermission 14-6, then turned it on in the final two stanzas to claim a 35-12 non-district win.
Jennings had 350 yards rushing and 131 yards through the air for the night. They held Cecilia to 115 total yards.
