New arrival welcomed home
Ashley Cormier and Eddie Istre, both of Jennings, announce the birth of their son, Brantlin Charles Istre, born July 19, 2012, at Jennings American Legion Hospital.
Brantlin weighed six pounds, one ounce at birth and was 18 inches long.
He was welcomed home by his older sisters, Kira Ann Cormier and Aaliyah Faith Istre, both of Jennings.
Maternal grandparents are John B. Martin Sr. and Margaret A. Martin of Lake Arthur.
Paternal grandparents are the late Carlton R. Istre Sr. and Reesie A. Istre of Jennings.
Great-grandparents are the late Paul Martin and Erana Martin of Lake Arthur and Caroline Cavelia of Patterson.
Godparents are Sadiqa Martin of Jennings, Sylvania Gotte of Iota, Reagan Istre of Gueydan, John B. Martin Jr. of Jennings and Josh Istre of Jennings.
