Person of interest named in local robbery

Jennings police have named a “person of interest” in the robbery of a local convenience store Monday. The suspect in the case may also be tied to two other convenience store robberies that occurred Tuesday in Welsh and Allen Parish.
Welsh police told the Jennings Daily News this morning that the Exxon on North Adams Street was robbed at approximately 3 p.m. Tuesday.
This suspect is wanted by Jennings police for possibly three robberies in Jeff Davis and Allen parishes this week.
