Costume contest winners named

Founders Park in Jennings saw gobs of goblins and ghouls Tuesday during its annual Main Street Trick or Treat event. Prizes were awarded to some of the best dressed as part of the 2012 Jennings Daily News Halloween Costume Contest.
In the four-legged division, Kacie Clement’s three-month-old dachshund, Belle, took home the top prize for its spider costume, while second place went to Paula Conner’s pomeranian pooch, Sissy, dressed as Curious George.
In the infant division, 10-week-old Anthony Richard Lamb stole the show with his “cotton ball lamb” costume. Proud parents are Jade and Matthew Lamb. Second place was awarded to Rowdy Viator, the 10-month-old “chick” of Kassey and Joshua Viator, and third place went to “peacock” Macy Thibeaux, daughter of Kelli and Matt Thibeaux.
