CPD seeks suspects using stolen credit cards

CROWLEY – Police here are trying to identify two suspects who stole a  purse from the Walmart Super Center in Crowley before using the victim’s credit cards at the store’s Jennings location.

Crowley Police Chief K.P. Gibson said in a press release that the purse was stolen on Aug. 12 between 4-5 p.m. Police believe the victim forgot her purse in a shopping cart after loading her groceries into her vehicle. Recently, though, investigators said surveillance at the Jennings WalMart Super Center captured two suspects using the victim’s credit cards.
