Deadline nears to register to vote in Nov. 6 election

With only one week left to register to vote in the Nov. 6 Presidential Election, the Jeff Davis Registrar of Voters Lorraine Dees would like to remind voters in the parish to sign up before it is too late.
According Dees, Tuesday, Oct. 9 is the last day to register to vote or make changes to a voter’s record for the Nov. 6 Open Primary Congressional and Presidential Election.
“There is usually a high turnout for a Presidential Election,” Dees said.
