“We lost to a really good football team last week,” said Jennings Bulldog Head Coach Rusty Phelps of his squad’s defeat at the hands of the Notre Dame Pios. “They are ranked one of the top teams for a reason. But we’ve got to get back on track as far as offense is concerned. There are a couple of things we need to do better on special teams. There are a couple of things our defense needs to correct.”

Notre Dame took advantage of great field position for most of the night against Jennings last Friday, scoring their first two touchdowns on short fields. Meanwhile, the Pios pushed the Dogs back into their own territory, scoring a safety, as well.
