Despite the bad weather, Homecoming 2012 was a festive and entertaining night for the Jennings Bulldogs. The Dogs made quick work of the visiting Ferriday Trojans, thumping them 50-8. The night was festive for Homecoming Queen Kenberlyn Jones and her court. Coach Rusty Phelps took it easy on the outmanned Trojans and emptied the bench in the third quarter. Everyone sporting the maroon and white got into action, making it an even better night.
The Dogs were hitting on all cylinders and performed well for the alumni and home crowd that endured the weather. They controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.
