Funeral services for Mrs. Fannie Bell Bumphis, 83, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at 11 a.m.  in Semien-Lewis Mortuary Church Chapel. Rev. Johnny Davis, pastor of Power House Church of God in Christ, will officiate. Burial will be in Benevolent Cemetery.

Visitation will be in the chapel of the funeral home from 9 a.m. until time of service, under direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary.

Mrs. Bumphis, a native of Jennings, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, Oct. 17,  2012, in a local care center.

Survivors include one son, Andrew (Joyce) Nichols Jr. of Crosby, Texas; three granddaughters; a number of great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Virginia Janice and Luzanne Pruitt, of Houston, Texas, and Margie Ervin of California.
