Jeff Davis Parish (JDP) Head Start centers have a new grantee in Save the Children, a relationship that has provided $675,000 for repairs and upgrades at its sites in Jennings and Elton.

Gloria Joseph, Head Start’s compliance IT coordinator, said the centers had been in a temporary partnership for funding with Community Development Institute for the past seven years. However, Head Start was still seeking a grantee.
