Jacki Tucker Hungerford
Gueydan – Funeral services for Jacki Tucker Hungerford, 62, will be held on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Gueydan. She will be laid to eternal rest in Gueydan Cemetery with Rev. LaMarylis Cotten officiating her services.
Visitation will be held today, Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, from 2-8 p.m. and resume on Thursday, Oct. 18 at 10 a.m. until the time of her services at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Gueydan.
Jacki was born in Odessa, Texas, to the late Jack Junius Tucker and the late Josephine C. Tucker on March 16, 1950. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Gueydan Art Lovers Association and was an enamal egg artist. She enjoyed fishing, reading and needlework. She also enjoyed playing bridge and other games.
Jacki is survived by her beloved husband, Max Hungerford of Gueydan; three step-sons, Ryan Hungerford of Sulphur, Aaron (Paige) Hungerford of Abbeville, and Jared Hungerford of Los Angeles, Calif.; one granddaughter, Jolee Guidry; her two sisters, Nancye (Whitney) Duhon of Gueydan,= and Judy (Michael) Schoolcraft of Tenn.; two nephews, Trey (Carla) Duhon and Greg (Kristina) Schoolcraft; two great-nephews, Tucker and Mason Duhon; and two great-nieces, Raquelle Schoolcraft and Michaela Schoolcraft.
Jacki now rests in Heaven with her beloved family who preceded her in death: her parents, Jack and Josephine Tucker; and her son, Louis Edward Boyd III
Carrying Jacki to her eternal resting place will be Trey Duhon, Greg Schoolcraft, Aaron Hungerford, Ryan Hungerford and Trevor Theriot.
