Jennings man perishes in house fire

A house fire late Monday night claimed the life of a 55-year-old Jennings man.
Jennings Fire Department (JFD) Chief Hulin Theriot said the fire at 215 East Willis Street was reported around 11:32 p.m. The first call indicated that two people, one who was disabled, were inside the home.
