Local law enforcement agencies offer Halloween safety tips

Local law enforcement officers have been getting ready to ensure that everyone has a safe and happy Halloween.
Jennings Police Department (JPD) officers made their rounds Monday to ensure that all sex offenders in the parish are following the proper precautions for the Halloween holiday. JPD officers will also be on hand at Founder’s Park tonight, Oct. 30 during trick-or-treat in Jennings offering safety tips for parents.
