Funeral services for Martha Pete Seymour, 71, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Jennings. The Rev. Celsius Offor will officiate. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery under the direction of Fondel Memorial Chapel.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 from 9 a.m. until time of services in the church.

Mrs. Seymour died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at 9:38 p.m. in a local hospital.

She was born in Jennings and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and a member of the Ladies Auxillary.

She is survived by five daughters, Pat Leblanc and Andreanette Lee, both of Jennings, Angel Seymour of Iota, Layshone Seymour Guillory of Welsh, and Kayla Ned of Port Arthur, Texas; one son, Derryl Lewis of Dickerson, Texas; five sisters, Villa Lewis and Doris Blaine of Galveston, Texas, Barbara Senegal of Yuba City, Calif., and Leanna Dartez and Margaret Riggs of Jennings; one brother, Lee Pitre of Riverdale, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
