No Halloween troubles reported

Halloween activities ran smoothly in the city Tuesday night, according to Jennings Police Department Deputy Chief Danny Semmes. While some traffic congestion was seen in the eastern portion of the city, Semmes said no Halloween-related problems were reported. He added that the department participated in Main Street Trick or Treat, where they handed out 500 identification kits to parents. Those kits allow parents to compile important information about each of their children to be turned over to police in the event of an emergency.
