Boy Scouts from Troop 59 in Hathaway, Troop 65 in Jennings and Webelos Scouts from Pack 96 in Lake Arthur and Pack 65 in Jennings recently joined together to attend the Calcasieu Area Council 2012 Camporee held at Camp Edgewood. Scouts learned a number of skills, including cooking eggs in a bag for breakfast; CO2-powered derby cars; fire building; map reading competition; emergency preparedness; first aid; rope making; fire building; and more.
