ROV accepting requests for mail-in ballots

The Jeff Davis Parish Registrar of Voters (ROV) is now accepting requests for mail-in ballots for the state’s upcoming presidential/congressional election, set for Nov.6.
Jeff Davis Registrar of Voters Lorraine Dees said that any offshore workers, college students or residents who travel often and are unable to make the early voting dates or the Nov. 6 election date may call the parish ROV to request a ballot to be mailed to their home. The mail-in ballots are due to the ROV by Nov. 5 at 4:30 p.m. Voters in the U.S. military or those voting from overseas have until 4:30 p.m. on the day of the election.
