Annual torch run stopping in JDP

The annual International Run Carrera Antorcha Guadalupana Mexico-New York Torch Race will be stopping in Jennings later today, with a special mass to be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

The race, connecting Mexico and the United States, made two stops in the Diocese of Lake Charles between Thursday and today, Friday, Nov. 9. The Holy Fire is on its way from the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City to St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City for Our Lady’s Feast Day on Wednesday, Dec. 12.
