Coushatta Tribe Princess Pageant set for Nov. 3

ELTON – The Coushatta Tribe Princess and Jr. Princess Pageant is set here for Saturday, Nov. 3, in conjunction with the next Coushatta Farmers’ Market.

The pageant is free and open to the public and will take place between 9-11 a.m. at Koasati Plaza in Elton. Four contestants, including Kaylyn Battise, Lexie Peoples, Leigh-Anne Thompson and Aniyah Williams, will vie for the title of Coushatta Jr. Princess. Two contestants, Hannah Nichols and Xena Thompson, will compete for the Coushatta Princess crown.
