Dogs prepping for Lumberjack battle

With the regular season in the rear view mirror, the Jennings Bulldogs have their sights on bigger and better things. They will host the Bogalusa Lumberjacks in the opening round of the playoffs Friday night in Jerry Simmons Stadium.
“This is one of the goals you set for yourself in the regular season, to make the playoffs and host a first round game and so far we have accomplished those things,” Coach Rusty Phelps said. “I’m very proud of our players and coaches. Three weeks ago we hit a little bump in the road and we regrouped and came back. We have won three straight and are playing with a little momentum now. Hopefully this carries over into week 11.”
