Dogs triumph, advance to regionals

The Bogalusa Lumberjacks came calling on the Jennings Bulldogs in Jerry Simmons Stadium Friday night in the opening round of the playoffs. The game lived up to its hype and did not disappoint, not being decided until the final minutes of play.
The Dogs looked like they were going to take the lead into the dressing room at halftime with momentum on their side. But the Lumberjacks hijacked a Bulldog pass on the last play of the half and returned it 100 yards for a touchdown. A little trickery on the two-point conversion and allowed them to take a 14-7 lead at the break.
