Donors sought to send Christmas gifts to needy children

Locals can make a major impact in the life of an overseas child all next week by donating shoeboxes filled with gifts through the Operation Christmas Child program.
The effort serves as an annual outreach for Samaritan’s Purse, an international Christian relief and evangelism organization headed by Franklin Graham, eldest son of Dr. Billy Graham. The non-profit organization specializes in meeting the critical needs of victims of war, poverty, disease and natural disaster in order to demonstrate God’s love worldwide.
