Dr. Albert Joseph Kopp Jr.
Dr. Albert Joseph Kopp, Jr., 84, of Lake Charles, passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, in Jennings American Legion Hospital.
“Doc”, as he was affectionately known, was born Dec. 3, 1928, in New Orleans. He faithfully served his country as an officer in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He diligently served the Lake Charles area as a podiatrist from 1959 until his death.
He is survived by his three children, Dawn Ory, Lillette Marceaux and Ty Kopp; and his four grandchildren, Scott, Shane, and Steven Ory and Spencer Marceaux.
He will be mourned by his family and friends and his life will be celebrated and honored in a memorial service at 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends may gather on Friday from 12 p.m. until the start of the service. Rest in peace, Doc.
