Early voting begins in one week

Voters in Jennings and Lake Arthur can cast their votes ahead of time for the Dec. 8 election starting on Saturday, Nov. 24.
The early voting period for the special election called Dec. 8 for tax propositions will begin on Saturday, Nov. 24, and end on Saturday, Dec. 1, according to the Jeff Davis Parish Registrar of Voters (ROV) office.
