Early voting turnout in JDP up from 2008

Early voting turnout in Jeff Davis Parish (JDP) was up from in the last presidential election in 2008.
Around 17 percent of the registered voters in JDP turned out last week during the early voting period for the Nov. 6 presidential and congressional election, according to Jeff Davis Registrar of Voters Lorraine Dees.
