Educators discuss literacy advancements

Educators with Jennings’ three public schools detailed what advances have so far been made with Striving Readers Comprehensive Literacy (SRCL) grant funds during a quarterly community meeting Tuesday.

Jeff Davis is one of 17 Louisiana parishes chosen earlier this year to receive millions in grant funding aimed to improve literacy skills and keep students from falling behind their peers.
