Food drive hopes to collect over two tons in donations

Jeff Davis residents will have the opportunity to help their friends and neighbors during the annual Food Net Food Drive.
The 12-hour drive, sponsored by the Jeff Davis Parish (JDP) Council on Aging (COA) and KLFY Channel 10, will be held Wednesday, Dec. 5, from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the JDP Fairgrounds Arena. There, volunteers will be working to unload and accept non-perishable food items and essential toiletries.
