Iota prays despite group’s objection

IOTA – On top of dominating their last game of the season here Friday night, the Iota High School (IHS) Bulldogs, and their fans, left the stadium with an even greater victory: Exercising their right to freedom of religion, specifically, through prayer.

Many in the Iota community were under the impression that prayer would not be permitted at the game after contact between the Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) and Acadia Parish School Board earlier in the week.
