Jane Daigle
It is with great sadness that the family of Jane Daigle announces her passing from this life on Nov. 14, 2012. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jennings on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at 10 a.m. honoring her life. Jane will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery. Father Jeff Starkovich will be officiating.
Jane was born in Estherwood to the late Raymond and Armany Cormier LeJeune on Nov. 30, 1934. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed visiting with people, sewing and crocheting. Jane was a member of the Catholic Daughters and a Eucharistic Minister. She also loved attending church services.
Jane is survived by her two sons, Huey (Julie) Daigle of Atlanta, Ga., and A.J. (Belinda) Daigle of Jennings; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Laura Cart of Iota, and Marie Cormier of Jennings.
Carrying Jane to her eternal resting place will be Travis, Chet, Alex and Alvin Daigle, Brett Bienvenu and Zach Cart.
Visiting hours will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home on Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, from 2:30-9 p.m. with a rosary recited at 6 p.m. by Deacon Mike Tramel. Visitation will resume on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 8 a.m. until the time of her funeral services.
