Keys welcome son

Ashley and Corey Keys of Welsh announce the birth of their son, Canaan Joseph, born Oct. 27, 2012, at Jennings American Legion Hospital.

Mrs. Keys is the former Ashley Stelly of Welsh.

Canaan weighed six pounds, nine ounces at birth and was 20 inches long.

He was welcomed home by his older sister, Kailey Lefrere of Lake Charles.

Maternal grandparents are Karen and the late Henry J. Stelly, Jr. of Welsh.

Paternal grandparents are Michael and Kay Keys, Sr. of Lake Charles.

Great-grandparents are the late Allen J. and Margie Keys I and Lorrie and Dot Ardoin of Welsh.

Godparents are Carey Keys and Alayna Klumpp, both of Welsh.
