Lake Arthur to host ‘Christmas on the Lake’

LAKE ARTHUR – The town here will host its annual holiday celebration, “Christmas on the Lake,” Saturday, Dec. 8, in downtown Lake Arthur.
Holiday activities kicked off this week in the town with the unveiling of the annual Hall of Trees at City Hall on Arthur Avenue, according to Town Clerk Cindy Mallet. There, businesses and civic groups have decorated a variety of trees and wreaths to welcome the Christmas spirit. This display will run until Dec. 16, and is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The town, along with local businesses along Arthur Avenue, have already starting putting up garland and greenery in anticipation of next weekend’s annual holiday celebration, “Christmas on the Lake.”
