Local film showcase seeking entries

North Prong Studios has announced the date and call for submissions for this year’s Grand Bayou Short Film Showcase. On Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, the Strand Theater in Jennings will present a lineup of short films produced by local, regional, national and international filmmakers. This showcase is a celebration of the art form of short films.
According to a press release, area bands are encouraged to make music videos and filmmakers are encouraged to submit short films. Local productions will be highlighted though national and international shorts will be screened.
